UCA Homecoming weekend

The University of Central Arkansas celebrated its homecoming weekend Oct. 29-30 with numerous activities. Members of the 50 year class were honored at the Half Century Club, young alums were welcomed at the Bear Bash, and Stephanie Sanders was named the homecoming queen. On the field, the Bears enjoyed a 30-23 win over Southeastern Louisiana.
College athlete of the week: Portland State’s Carly McEachran
What she did: Went 3 for 3 with two runs and an RBI in a Saturday win over Seattle University, helping the Vikings move into first place in the Big Sky Conference. In six games during the week, she went 10-for-19 with 10 runs and eight RBI.
