F/A-18F Super Hornet Demonstration VFA-106 “Gladiators” 2008 Blue Angels Homecoming NAS Pensacola Pensacola, Florida Friday November 14, 2008 IN THIS VIDEO, watch as Flag and LBJ fly the Super Hornet in an amazing demonstration over the skies of NAS Pensacola during the early evening hours. There is barely enough light, as a result of clouds moving in, but they helped to showcase the afterburners a lot better, and take a look at the VAPOR in this demonstration! Unfortunately, this video does not completely showcase just how ear-splittingly loud this demonstration was (just look at the photo pass during the demonstration and appreciate how LOUD it was!). I am a huge fan of jet noise, as many of you know, and I love a loud demonstration, but this was entirely too loud! Like what you’ve seen? @jerumwolf I completely agree with you. The reason it was taken so badly was that it was labeled as a Silent Hill. It’s a good game, it’s just not at the same level of Silent Hill. That said, not even Silent Hill is half as scary as Amnesia, if you’ve heard of it.

@Trasdeno i thought combat was great! much btter than previous installments in my mind. everyones like “hes a solider bla bla bla” well if they finish the game thell find otherwise i gave a 9/10 to this i found it to be scary as hell

@Trasdeno I think a lot of people were frustrated that it made a heavier emphasis on combat. It also borrowed alot of the aesthetic from the movie, and Pyramid Head seemed out of place. The monsters even seemed to have less symbolism tied to them. I agree with you, people hate it unnecessarily. It might not be as deep as the other Silent Hills, but it’s still a great game. If it weren’t a Silent Hill, if it were just a stand alone Horror game it would have probably gotten a better rep.
I really dont understand some of the immense hate for this game! Sure, the combat is still quite clunky and it wasnt as scary as some previous installments, but the soundtrack is amazing, as well are the graphics. And I really thought the story was quite nice. It kept me intrigued, even if it was a bit awkwardly paced

Great song. There’s only 2 or 3 vocal songs from Silent Hill that I don’t like. The rest of them are fantastic, and some are catchy as hell.

I wasn’t an early fan of the F-18E/F, but I am changing my tune.
This is in the same neighborhood as that F-18F in the Farnborough airshow video here on YT.
All demo’s should be flown this way. In 1987 the Blue Angels did their 3rd show ever in their “new” F-18′s at Griffiss AFB, NY and the solo’s were just above the phone lines. We stood on our car roofs and the jet blast when they went vertical right above us made me want that lifestyle badly! 23 yrs later I’m retired Air Force, F-15C and have been flying 777′s the past 6 yrs. All thanks to the Blue Angels and their crazy demo back in 1987!

A F-16 Block 30 Aggressor Viper at Nellis scored a “kill”..of course it had to kill itself (“missiles”crossed paths in mid air) to get the kill.
Had to freeze frame it at 1:37. Awesome! I really hope on comes to the UK this year. Wish they wouldn’t play that cheesy rock music though. A plane like this doesn’t need it.
